Fitness Lifetime

The Basic Facts Of Lifetime Fitness

lifetime fitnessMany people worry about the bounce back effect that they experience after being on an especially restrictive diet. Lifetime fitness can be achieved and it starts with your mindset. Exercise is an integral aspect of lifetime fitness of the biggest concerns with most diets and other types of programs out there is that many of them are very hard if not almost impossible to maintain over a very long period of time. Instead, we need to focus our time and efforts on lifestyle changes, variety, and constant intensity to achieve lifetime fitness.

People are drawn to things that promise quick results, or maybe people are just looking for change. The reality of the fact is that yes, some people have proven that it is possible to lose a significant amount of weight or gain a great deal of muscle in a short period of time. But the more and more that I hear stories and talk to people about this, many of those people seem to be the exceptions to the rule rather than the norm. Instead of looking at just the short term, let’s start looking at the long term things that we have to do if we really want to improve our physiques and truly achieve lifetime fitness.

One of the first and most important things that has to change to achieve lifetime fitness is diet and nutrition. Don’t try to change everything all at once. Then, little by little, start to make changes in the way you eatSo start by making small changes and gradually move into a healthier, more permanent eating style. If you try to tackle the whole project at once, you’re more likely to be completely overwhelmed and give up. Think instead of your long term goal of complete lifetime fitness, and work gradually towards that instead of get-fit-quick goals. They are all well and good but lifetime fitness involves working on your body from the inside out, it can manifest miraculous changes to your looks, well being and self-esteem.

Get Up and Start Moving! Right around the New Year, the gym is packed to the brim with all the people that made the resolution to lose unwanted weight this year. Start out small, and gradually work up to eating healthy every day (with maybe a few cheat days and meals here and there) and consistently working out. If you’re the type of person that has started and stopped countless diets and workout programs over the years, you’ll most likely find that by taking it slow you end up sticking with your program or routine for a much longer time. To achieve lifetime fitness you definitely need to start small and work your way into it.

Trainer Fitness

Get Good Body Fast, Hire Personal Fitness Trainer

If you want a hands-on approach to reaching your fitness goals, hire a personal trainer. Fitness Clubs are a business and not as interested in getting you into shape like an independent fitness trainer is. The following list is some of the important advantages that a personal fitness trainer will have over the big chain fitness places .

The most important factor a Trainer should possess is knowledge. A knowledgeable Trainer should work with the population that she has expertise. The Trainer should read and learn from creditable sources. More goes on between a Trainer and a client than just counting reps and changing weights. The Trainer is a helper and educator to the client exceed the confines of their own expertise.

A good Trainer needs to be a people person. If a Trainer is personable she will be considered pleasant and friendly and I believe those are valuable tools for a Trainer to possess. A trainer needs to be a good listener. A Trainer should be a role model. A Trainer should “practice what she preaches”. A Trainer should exercise and eat well. The Trainer should promote healthy eating habits. A Trainer should not just “talk the talk” but “walk the walk”. A Trainer needs to be prompt and well organized. The Trainer needs to show the client how to keep accurate exercise logs to track fitness goals and strength gains.

A great Trainer will educate a client to become self-reliant.  Positive attitude and enthusiasm should be closer to the top of this list. All ten of these elements are important so don’t think that they are in any order of significance. A Trainer works very closely with her clients and attitude and enthusiasm really count on the motivational meter. If a Trainer has no sense of humor she is not going far.

Communication is a very important factor in the training world. If you and the trainer work together three times a week then a phone call in between sessions probably isn’t necessary. If you are together less than 3 times a week it’s a good idea to correspond with your trainer either by phone or email just to keep in touch and keep yourself motivated.

Beside all of personality factor that I mention above, a personal trainer must have a qualifications such as :  Experience, Education certification  (NASM, ISSA or ACSM  etc) . Here are some question ( maybe that can help you ) that you can ask to yourself or your personal trainer before you hire him :

Is he qualified and reliable? The Fitness Trainer should know how to track development It is best to choose a fitness trainer that knows how to track his or her client’s progress as far as fitness is concerned. In this way, the trainer will be able to generate new activities and trainings designated for a particular result of the client. An essential requirement for a fitness trainer is his qualification. The ACE (American Council on Exercise), AAFA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America), FIA (Fitness Institute Australia), NPTI (National Personal Training Institute), NCSF (National Council on Strength and Fitness) are reputed institutes to name a few. Completion of such certified courses may not assure an advantage, but it promises the understanding of fundamentals. Knowledge of basic skills such as CPR and first aid are undoubtedly mandatory.

Is the fitness trainer fit? – While hiring, the general tendency is to perceive appearance as a major factor.

Does the fitness trainer have any references? – Never hire a fitness trainer without previous references. As convincing as he may look or sound or be certified, it is crucial to hear it from his former clients.

What is the usual fee charged and on what basis?- The prices for training are spread over a varied range. Do your background research well and make enquiries. A fitness trainer’s fee is based on his credentials, level of experience, the number & length of sessions and geographical location. Fees may range from about $20 an hour for basic trainers to thousands of dollars like the celebrity ones.

Can I work with him comfortably?- Finally and most importantly, you must be comfortable working with the fitness trainer. The Fitness Trainer should know how to give the right attention. A good fitness trainer should know how to provide his or her client an undivided attention whenever their session is going on. In this way, the trainer will be able to focus more on the details that need attention and offer immediate considerations.
